On behalf of the National Federation of Republican Women, I send heartfelt condolences and prayers to the families and friends of the victims of the over 30 devastating tornadoes that ravaged Arkansas to Kentucky, only hours ago. As I await information from all our state presidents whose areas were directly impacted, the NFRW stands ready as always to assist their sisters and communities.

NFRW proud to support our KFRW sisters in times of need. Watch for more information from us how you can help!

Update for today:
We are working to put together a long-term plan which will best help with the recovery effort for the long road ahead of those impacted by the tornadoes in West Kentucky. According to Senator Max Wise, Taylor County is receiving so many donations they are sending to the hardest hit area of Mayfield. We have heard that Bowling Green needs volunteers and more houses were discovered destroyed today with more deaths…With the help of our National organization, we have been able to connect officials of Rotary International in Nashville with people on the ground in West Kentucky… Rotary provides heated tents as temporary living quarters worldwide during natural disasters .. we have answered two calls regarding missing people and have spoken to many inside and outside the state who wish to help … information to assist and for assistance keeps coming in … all offers are much appreciated and if I can leave you with one important revelation in all this,
coordinating efforts will be much more effective.
Thank you all and more tomorrow.
