Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Jesus, we celebrate You as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, just as the crowds, in Jerusalem, did on Palm Sunday. We acknowledge the fulfillment of the scripture Zechariah 9:9 which states Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. As you rode into Jerusalem, you knew the heavy weight of the coming days, your death, burial and resurrection. Your life was a sacrifice of love to your people. Thank you, Jesus, for caring enough for us all that you came to serve and yield your life to your Father. Amen
