This is the Official Call for the 71st DFRW Convention to be hosted by the New Castle RWC.
It will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19904. Registration will be from 8:15A.M. to 9:00A.M. The business meeting will convene at 9:00A.M.
The theme for this year’s meeting is Women Meeting the Challenges of 2024. Our keynote speaker will be Vanessa LaFranco, NFRW 1st Vice President and NFRW candidate for President at the upcoming NFRW Biennial Convention.
The morning will begin with a continental breakfast available at 8:15A.M. A luncheon will be served. The total convention registration cost per person is $50.00. Reservations are required and must be postmarked on or before October 6, 2023.
At this meeting business to be addressed includes:
- Approval of the Minutes from the 2022 meeting
- Report of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee
- Club Reports
- Report of Resolutions
- Election of Officers for the 2024-2025 term

To assist Clubs in determining how many delegates and alternates your Club is officially authorized, instructions are on the Unit Club Registration Form. Current Club Presidents, current DFRW Board members and past DFRW Presidents are not counted in the number of eligible delegates. List delegates, alternates, current DFRW Board members and, if any, past DFRW presidents; also list members attending on the attached form.
All registration forms must be postmarked on or before October 6, 2023, with payment for each attendee, delegates, alternates and members.
Attendees must send a completed registration form, attached, along with payment, payable to the Club. Each Club Treasurer will send one (1) Club check for each paid reservation, payable to DFRW, along with the completed Club registration form and completed member registration form for the total members attending to: Fran Turner DFRW Treasurer, at 67 Elmwood Drive, Smyrna, DE 19977.
